Snubbed by his classmates and others, he turns to his grandfather, who demonstrates how to tell the truth "the right way." The familiar premise is made wholly fresh by the book's rampant humor, both textual and Photoshopped (Principal Wiggins's toupée really does look, in Frank's words, like a "pet weasel").
