Two children go about their day, playing together and exploring nature. This book consists of a series of simple statements in Spanish and English illustrating opposites: "Es de noche. / It is dark. / Es de día. / It is light." The enlarged watercolors are highly textured though fuzzily reproduced. Expansive double-page spreads make effective use of boldly playful primary and secondary colors.
