"Trickle oil, oh, so slowly. / Never curdle the aioli." In what's probably the first children's book to rhyme ragout and roux (glossary included but no pronunciation), this romp set in a restaurant stars the cartoon rats from Ratatouille. The rhymes are snappy and the retro-style illustrations have élan--not a bad way to introduce young readers to the culinary arts.
