In the first surreal photo-collage spread, a white girl playing with stilettoes says, "I like shoes"; opposite, a girl with brown skin shines an unseen adult's shoe: "I don't like shoes." This pattern continues with soccer balls, rugs, and more. No countries are identified, but this Italian import is a powerful discussion-starter on international economic inequality and child labor.
