These concrete poems are as exuberant as the games they celebrate. The words for "Swing" arc down and then up as a girl flies "to where my feet can touch the sky"; "Tag" zigzags across the page as children race away from the one who's "IT." Most poems are dependent on the bright, whimsical pictures for meaning, and with some it's hard to know where to begin reading. Nevertheless, the volume is full of energy and verve.
