Reluctant witch Cam's mother invites her to join her wicked coven, only for a hex to immediately descend on the group. Cam and a talented (and rather domineering) young witch named Poppy work together to solve the mystery of the hex. The third novel (Seriously Wicked; Seriously Shifted) continues do-gooder Cam's moral disposition to use "vegetarian" spell ingredients, which keeps this modern-day witch tale lighthearted.

Continuing from Seriously Wicked, teenage witch Cam would rather be a good witch than a wicked one like her mother and her friends, who've made a wager on who can best make Cam's high-school friends miserable. A pragmatic, smart, and wry narrator, Cam's adherence to "Good Witch Ethics" (e.g., refusal to harm animals for spells) will speak to morally conscious readers.

When Sarmine accidentally traps a demon in the body of a cute teenage boy, Cam adds saving her new crush to her to-do list. Hilarious and charming, this modern witch story is a perfect mix of fantasy and romance.
