Now in L.A. launching a makeup line, they attend fabulous parties, canoodle with celebrities, etc. The prologue hints at a climax that is still undeveloped by book's end; readers who eat up the girlie slang, glittery fashion, and glitzy setting will look for answers in the sequel.
