Microsaurs series.
Danny and Lin return to babysit neighbor Professor Penrod's microsaurs. This time, the T. rex twins end up terrorizing the rest of the miniature dinosaurs. Worse still, they break the professor's expander, leaving Danny stranded in the tiny dino-world, unable to return to normal size. Lots of humor and plentiful cartoony illustrations characterize this third over-the-top but entertaining misadventure.

Microsaurs series.
Nine-year-old Danny and his skateboarding friend Lin follow a tiny pterodactyl and wind up miniaturized at a scientist's home, where they meet the fellow shrunken human scientist and new dino friends. Although the characters are two-dimensional, the fast-paced action and engaging cartoonlike illustrations should ensure an audience for this series-starter. Appended facts about pterosaurs are a welcome addition.

Microsaurs series.
In Follow That Tiny-Dactyl, friends Danny and Lin discovered Professor Penrod's secret lab. Now they are caring for the professor's miniaturized dinosaurs while he's away, but the arrival of a tiny package creates big trouble. The fast-paced action, plentiful cartoonlike illustrations, and an appended section of oviraptor facts should appeal to series fans, who will likely overlook the exaggerated writing and flat characters.

A lively, well-written, and detail-oriented narrative on the history, development, and culture of video games. Organized chronologically--from Pong (1972) to Overwatch (2016)--this survey demonstrates an evolution of game sophistication. Packaged in a zingy design with screenshots and trivia sidebars, this is an effective time capsule for young readers whose daily lives are permeated by the influential pop-culture medium. Reading list, websites.
