In this follow-up to Dig, Dog, Dig, foreman Duke and his all-canine crew return to build a Bark Avenue penthouse. But first it's "Wreck, dogs, wreck!" Some of the rhymes could have sturdier construction, but the cartoony digital illustrations (look for a curious black cat's cameo in every scene) are quite masterfully designed.

The dogs from Dig, Dogs, Dig and Build, Dogs, Build are at work again, this time fixing a road. The crew spreads asphalt, blasts a tunnel through a mountain, and builds a bridge to the beach. The bouncy rhymes hit some potholes, but preschoolers will love the winning combination of construction vehicles and friendly pups in the bright digital illustrations.

Under the leadership of crew boss Duke, the team hurries to their worksite where a variety of machines await their commands, and then race through their task of building a park that opens at day's end. Digital illustrations capture the pups' frenzy and the quick-moving progress of their project.
