Although everyone else complains that Lily Hippo is too loud, the new music and drama teacher is delighted with her magnificent ability to make noise. Lily becomes the star of the school play, and the audience loves her. The joyful illustrations match the energy of the text and the boisterous hippo while aptly portraying her emotions.
