(4) K-3 Illustrated by Katy Bratun. Josh discovers a giant pumpkin on Grandpa's farm and hides it, hoping to keep it for himself. Then his little sister Callie gets lost, and Josh realizes he can't conceal the pumpkin any longer, not when he knows how to use it to rescue Callie. The illustrations, filled with glowing pumpkins, are amiable enough, but the story is overly sentimental.
