In Donald and the..., Donald finds a worm; after many suspenseful pages it becomes...a housefly. In the second story, Donald's mother removes a splinter from his leg. Short on plot, long on atmosphere, these small, elegant editions (with new afterwords by the author) will be warmly welcomed by both Gorey fans and children who should probably be watched closely.
