A young cow asks other animals in the farmyard, "If I say Moo, why don't you?" Each responds with its appropriate sound, until the wise owl says "Now if I said Moo, and you said Whoooo, you'd be me and I'd be you!" Despite the slight story, young readers will be amused by the illustrations that show the cow imagining each animal's body with a different animal's head.
