(4) 4-6 Latino-American History series. This series provides a general overview of Latino American history, with each book sketching out significant events over a particular period of time. The volumes are accessibly written, though information about notable figures is unevenly presented. These books differ in format, but all contain background on an area of professional interest as well as specialties within that field (i.e., Journalism touches on writing for magazines, television, radio, and the Internet).
