Twenty-eight world religious groups are presented on two-page spreads--one page a striking illustration and the other a brief profile that discusses the origin of each faith and the most important practices of the religion. Although the minimal text doesn't discuss creed, differences within each religion, and cultural and political matters, it succeeds in providing young readers with an accurate capsule view.
