Council leader Triana returns to the starship Galahad with an alien ambassador and word of a shortcut, but the teenage colonists must still battle sabotage and uncertainty during the final leg of their space journey. While the series' ending raises as many questions as it answers about the crew's future, the narrators--with their usual humor, logic, and empathy--find personal closure.

In the series' fourth installment, the teenage crew of the Galahad faces new obstacles on its journey to establish the last human colony. Parasitic aliens attach themselves to the ship, a death is predicted, and emotional conflicts threaten to divide the crew. Though its plotting can be inconsistent and the interpersonal dynamics lean toward melodrama, this space adventure will appeal to younger teen fantasy fans.

After Triana Martell's disappearance, the teenage crew of the spaceship Galahad must elect a new Council Leader amidst increasingly violent social angst and a potentially deadly radiation shield malfunction. Although some of the characters seem unrealistically self-aware, this book's diverse cast of exceptional yet relatable narrators will continue to appeal to fans of the first four volumes.

This sequel to The Comet's Curse finds the all-teen crew of the Galahad, a ship sent to escape a deadly disease on Earth, encountering new threats. When health aberrations and mysterious messages appear from an outside source, the Council must puzzle out how to prevent the micro-society's destruction. Despite some lapses in logic, the high-stakes situations give readers plenty to mull over.

A disease caused by a passing comet has a devastating morbidity-effect on Earth's over-eighteen population. In a last-ditch effort to save humanity, 251 teenagers are launched into space--along with a saboteur. Despite a dubious premise and starship-sized plot holes, this series starter offers dynamic characters and enough action and intrigue (not to mention high stakes) to command readers' attention.
