Secrets of the X-Point series.
Thirteen-year-olds Axel and Daisha witnessed the murder of their inventing-colleague parents; now, evil billionaire Dr. Hatch is after the GeoPort--which allows a person to instantaneously travel anywhere around the globe by pushing a button--and only Axel and Daisha have one. This globe-spanning thriller uses action tropes rather carelessly, but that shouldn't diminish the appeal for reluctant readers.

Super Schnoz, Vivian, and the Not-Right Brothers (Super Schnoz and the Gates of Smell) are back! This time, they must use Schnoz's gigantic nose to prevent evil aliens from using Schnoz's earthquake-level snores to destroy civilization. While many kids will enjoy the booger-based humor, the team's wacky superhero antics, and Frawley's silly cartoons, parts of this less-cohesive second story feel contrived.
