Dragon siblings Ella and Owen embark on a quest to find a mystical wizard dragon who can cure Owen's fire-sneezing cold. Along the way, the dragons encounter obstacles, including a hungry ogre and a giant Wicked Wizard Waffle. The silly if formulaic fantasy romp ends with a sequel-hinting cliffhanger. Cartoonish line drawings add humor and provide visual pauses for new chapter-book readers.

Overnight in a dreidel-maker's shop, cartoony anthropomorphized Hebrew letters--the Heys, Nuns, and Shins--hatch a jealous plot to hide all the fourth and game-winning letters, the Gimels. After learning the importance of all four letters to the traditional Hanukkah game, the guilty letters have a change of heart. A mildly amusing holiday story hampered by contrived and didactic explanations.
