Josh discovers a giant pumpkin on Grandpa's farm and hides it, hoping to keep it for himself. Then his little sister Callie gets lost, and Josh realizes he can't conceal the pumpkin any longer, not when he knows how to use it to rescue Callie. The illustrations, filled with glowing pumpkins, are amiable enough, but the story is overly sentimental.

A young boy imagines that he and his mom are monkeys. Colorful illustrations show mother and son as monkeys swinging through the trees, eating bananas, and napping in the sun; at the end we see the boy being tucked into bed in a jungle-themed room. Both art and rhyming text are sweet and simple in this mildly amusing book.
