Illustrated by
Nancy Carlson.
A boy's attempts to alert his father to his unzipped fly are repeatedly thwarted by Dad's diverted attention--on a baseball game, on an errand, etc. Thanks to Carlson's sweet-natured illustrations, the silliness houses a gentle message about how parents should listen better. Unfortunately, much of the humor and poignancy are lost in the over-packed cartoon-panel layout.
