The hare is off and running to win the race until he decides to take a nap. In this version of Aesop's fable, the story has not been substantially altered, except to add a wise owl as the course-setter. Digital illustrations with bold shapes and large-eyed animals are bright and lively, but the die-cuts really don't add much to the book.
