This story in rhyme describes the monsters in a girl's home, revealing they're more frightened of one another than she is of them. Since the girl has the upper hand there's not much suspense, which some readers may find boring while others could see it as humorous and/or comforting. The illustrations are rendered in just a few too many shades.
