Illustrated by
Eva Eriksson.
This quiet book celebrates the loving bond between father and son while tacitly acknowledging the difficulty of separation. Tim and Dad spend the day together, and everywhere they go Tim proudly introduces his father around. Eriksson's unfussy colored-pencil illustrations are a good match for Holmberg's straightforward text; the pictures clearly show the relationships between characters through their expressive body language and facial expressions.
