(4) PS "Gather! / dig! / bury!" is a greedy squirrel's refrain as it collects--and steals--acorns. The word bury soon has a hungry bear thinking of berries, which the now famished squirrel also gathers (and again pilfers) when it can't remember its acorns' hideaways. The homophone denouement doesn't make for much of a story, but Sherry's mixed-media illustrations are silly and engaging.
