Illustrated by
Mernie Gallagher-Cole.
Young bat Fink is suffering from insomnia. His siblings, Fang, Batrick, and Batsy, spin yarns to help lull him to sleep. However, it's only Mom Bat's story that can send all her kids to dreamland as dawn breaks. Holub's writing is full of wordplay ("'After them, ladies!'...'I think he means mateys'"), well matched by Gallagher-Cole's humorous black-and-white drawings.
