Illustrated by
Emily Bolam.
Young donkey Buzzy is undone: his mother won't let him bring his stuffed-animal lamb to preschool. He sulks at first, then joins the other kids and has a smashing time, especially when one child pretends to be a lamb. Ziefert has nothing to add to the kid-must-separate-from-security-object picture-book genre, but Bolam's simple, black-outlined images in fresh color combinations are winning.
