As in Clothesline Clues to Jobs People Do, simple rhymes pair with images of sporting equipment on clotheslines and invite readers to guess each associated sport. An answer spread, with a busload of children passing the sport being played, follows each clue. Bold, digitally manipulated pencil and mixed-media illustrations add appeal to this guessing game that will help build preschoolers' sports vocabulary.
