This high-interest, low-level Australian import, set in the near future, focuses on Jason Chaser, fourteen, who attends a hover car racing school. While perfecting his 480 mph racing skills, Jason deals with an overly competitive classmate. The narrative is breathlessly paced, and after a while, the many racing scenes blur together. The black-and-white line drawings resemble graphic-novel art.
