While walking through the forest one night, Felix encounters ferocious animals. He escapes from them through a door in a tree, after which things get really interesting. That no reason is given for why a pajama-clad boy is taking a nighttime walk in the woods alone only heightens the thrill. Black etchings and crosshatchings reinforce the story's seductively eerie atmosphere.
