These little square books explore some of the realities--and pitfalls--of travel. Lisa, a little white dog with human posture and behavior, flies alone from Europe to America. Gaspard is a little black dog vacationing in Venice with his family. The stories are slight, but the incidents are well chosen to tickle young fancies and present some basic information. Best are the bold, bright illustrations. These are pleasant additions to the new-situations shelf.
