A busy high school junior, Skye is on the swim team and also takes care of her older brother, who has Down syndrome. When she starts dating Mike she lies to her mother in order to spend more time with him--until he tries to rape her. The dialogue, although realistic, is sometimes overlong, and the adult-driven resolution is disappointing, but sports fans will enjoy the swimming scenes.
