Radunsky's deliberately rough-around-the-edges illustrations show a shaggy-pelted pup, little red tongue sticking out, clad in white pants with backward baseball cap pulled low, his torso twisting and body angled in rhythm with his funky rhymes. The freestyle page design often features text spiraling around our hero.
