In Help, frog Joe's enthusiastic assistance is well meaning but the illustrations tell another story. In Lunch, originally published as a picture book, Joe's restaurant manners are abysmal and send his parents running to a froggie version of McDonalds. The simple rhyming texts are accessible if dull; it's the loose-lined watercolors that jazz things up.
