In this "notebook," Jessie writes and draws about her last summer before high school. She and BFF Julie are proud of their extreme nerd status, but Jessie worries about how they'll survive ninth grade. Her stories about being uncool are appealingly wacky, as are her many lists (things she's scared of include men with mullets and dolls with battery-powered voices).
