PS
This story about feeling small and powerless in a big, busy world speaks directly to the board book set. When pastel-polka-dotted elephant Little Elliot teams up with an even-smaller mouse, both overcome obstacles and gain a friend. Though the mixed-media illustrations of 1930s-esque New York work better in a larger format, they still effectively support the text.
