Romantic illustrations detail a girl's topsy-turvy dream in which she goes down to a castle's "cellar to look from an upstairs room" and witnesses flowers singing, birds blooming, and other absurd occurrences. A nice touch comes at the end when the illustrations reveal that all the elements from the dream can be found in the girl's room or right outside her sunlit window.
