Patterned after well-known nursery rhymes, these clever verses feature zombies, sharks, trolls, and mummies. With titles such as "Slithery, Dithery, Dock," "Sing a Song of Sea Slime," and "Werewolf Bo-Creep," the poems will appeal to fans of gross and goofy things, even though a few fall flat. The artwork is appropriately ghoulish but has a lighthearted touch that keeps the pictures from being overly scary.
