A Monty Python character ultimately proves an apt subject for a children's book. Forgoing a narrative, Merveille takes a graphically flat rendering of John Cleese's famous high-stepping suit-and-tie man and inserts him into various wordless contexts: he's a Christmas tree, Jesus on the cross, a Minecraft character, etc. Too silly? More like too funny.
