Although Murphy, a Labrador retriever, hates being put into a crate for the long plane ride to Paris, once he's there, he and his owner enjoy shopping, French food, and going to the Louvre. The story lacks tension but provides an amusing introduction to traveling in Paris. The simple, expressive illustrations give Murphy plenty of personality.
