4-6Nancy Drew Diaries series.
In these capers, the amiable teen sleuth investigates incidents of sabotage at the River Heights Horse Show (Midnight Rider) and becomes embroiled in another mystery when a bookstore goes up in flames (Thriller). There's a predictable formula to the twists, red herrings, and cliffhanger chapter endings, but it's an entertaining one that keeps the pace brisk. Nancy Drew aficionados will be satisfied. Review covers these Nancy Drew Diaries titles: Mystery of the Midnight Rider and Once upon a Thriller.
