These paired picture books, illustrated in crayon and watercolor (with the stormy night done in light-colored crayon on black paper), feature a goat and a wolf who take shelter together during a nighttime storm in a pitch-dark hut. Not knowing each other's identity at first, they become friends, and together on a picnic the next day, the wolf fights off hunger pangs. A little wordy, these colloquial texts are still amusing.
