Illustrated by
Peggy Fortnum.
These books about the amiable Peruvian bear are essentially identical to the earlier editions. The type is larger and there's more white space on each page, making the books easier on readers' eyes. Paddington's adventures include a stint at school, an exercise kick, and a trip to the hospital. The humor is broad, and Fortnum's loose ink sketches place Paddington smack in the middle of every mess.
