(4) YA Arcana Chronicles series. Sixteen-year-old Evie's horrifying visions turn out to be prophetic and intensely personal. Embodiments of Tarot cards (of which Evie is one) are slowly drawn together for an epic battle across an apocalyptic landscape. This mostly entertaining first novel in an anticipated series is promising. However, choppy pacing and a hot and cold romance that ultimately adds very little may put readers off.
