When a ghost pirate and his canine consort, invisible to rest of the Little family, show up looking for long-buried treasure, the dachshundlike Sally Dog barks, then goes along with the piratical pair's demands. Both the watercolor illustrations and the text have a quirky appeal, but an abrupt ending is disappointing.
