After a sleigh malfunction sends Santa Mouse and his ratdeer plunging from the sky into the middle of a snowy wood, the disgruntled ratdeer head off to find the beach. What they find instead is a mouse named Rosie who welcomes them into her house. Warmed by cookies, hot chocolate, and a toasty fire, Santa and the ratdeer fix the sleigh and the Christmas caravan takes off again. Bright watercolors illustrate the breezy holiday story.
