When a boy leaves an unfinished drawing of another boy, Simon, stranded on a page with a furry monster, things spiral out of control. The pens and ink on the desk come to life and promise to help Simon escape the monster. A chase through the pages ensues, with the monster getting ever closer. The art is gloriously messy; the controlled chaos is enthralling.
