Some diagrams are included, although the books are mostly illustrated with photos of children showing bug bites, bruises, etc. Occasionally the text is too simplistic when trying to describe more difficult medical concepts. There are three other spring 2004 books in this series. Reading list. Glos., ind. Review covers these It's Not Catching titles: Allergies, Broken Bones, Bumps & Bruises, Stings & Bites, and Tooth Decay.
