Tashi and the Tibetan Flower Cure

(4) K-3 When her grandfather, Popola, becomes ill, Tashi remembers his story about sick people in his Tibetan village using flower pollen to get better. Tashi insists he sit outside Wong's nursery to try it, and after many visits sharing tea and cookies with friends who wish him well, Popola recovers. Though sentimental, the story, with its congenial textured art, is heartwarming.
