Stephen (I Is Someone Else) is back from India in time to witness the last gasp of the sixties. He smokes too much pot, goes to the Isle of Wight festival, and reconnects with beautiful Astrid, who draws him into communal living and, eventually, disillusionment. This sequel is talky and static, but Cooper's take on the sixties dream is respectfully nuanced.
