Featuring child-pleasing snacks, sweets, and a few main dishes, the volume provides recipes that children and adults will enjoy making together. Unfortunately, the busy format--which uses color photographs to illustrate each step of every recipe, as well as all the ingredients and implements--makes following the directions difficult. The picture glossary of culinary terms would have been better placed at the beginning of the book. Ind.
